Hyde Park United Methodist Church
Our congregation began in a private home over one hundred years ago. Our first church building was built on Monroe Street in Hammond. We outgrew that location and built a new building on the corner of Harrison and Cleveland in the "Hyde Park" addition in Hammond, hence the name HYDE PARK. We are committed to our neighborhood while subscribing to what John Wesley the founder of Methodism believed that the world is our parrish.
We strive to follow John Wesley's "Three Simple Rules":
1. Do No Harm
2. Do Good
3. Stay In Love With God
